4K UHD Cable Assembly - Belden 1855A

Introduction

4K UHD patch cables using BELDEN 1855A (6 GHz) cable and precision BNC plugs. These 4K UHD patch leads are assembled at our Harlow, Essex assembly facility under our proven quality control system. Our precision "true" 75Ohm BNC connectors are suitable for applications up to 12GHz.

Belden 1855A is a small diameter(4.04mm) precision video cable suitable for 6GHz 4K UHD applications, in either 6GHz single link or 12GHz dual link configeration.

Belden 1855A has a 23awg conductor, Duofoil and tinned copper braid shields with a Black PVC jacket which is suitable for indoor use only.

Recommended maximum transmission distance

Distance is based on 40dB loss at ½ clock frequency according to Belden data sheets

At 3Gb/s   max distance is 92M

At 6Gb/s   max distance is 63M
