DIN 1.0/2.3 coaxial connector (IEC 61169-29).The name “1.0/2.3” refers to the inner (1.0 mm) and outer (2.3 mm) diameters of the centre and outer conductors.
It’s a miniature RF push-pull locking connector — meaning it can be quickly connected and disconnected without twisting, unlike BNC connectors.
The DIN 1.0/2.3 connector is much smaller than BNC or N-type connectors, making it ideal for dense panels and high-density broadcast or telecom racks.
Available in both straight and right-angle forms for cable mounting.
Applications include,
- Telecommunications equipment (especially in cellular base stations and radio systems
- Broadcast and video transmission systems (especially 75 Ω versions for SDI video)
- Measurement and test equipment
- Networking and data transmission hardware (where compact RF connections are needed)
